The opening ceremonies will commence at 7:00PM in the Gymnasium at Santa Cruz High School (415 Walnut Ave, near downtown). Be sure to arrive early to get seated. The ceremony will last 1.5 hours, followed by a question and answer period.
Street parking is an option, though parking in the immediate neighborhood may be limited. The best option is to park near downtown (garage at Walnut & Cedar, large lot at Lincoln & Cedar). The walk up to Santa Cruz High School from downtown along Walnut Ave is pleasant, and features some of the city’s finest historical Victorian mansions.
